A one-day blood donation drive organized in partnership with the local hospital to support patients in need of transfusions.
The Community Blood Donation Camp brought together volunteers, staff, and local residents for a day dedicated to saving lives. Held in collaboration with the regional hospital's blood bank, the event welcomed both first-time and returning donors.
Medical professionals were on-site to conduct health screenings before donations, ensuring the safety of all participants. Refreshments and rest areas were provided for donors following their contribution.
The camp successfully collected over 150 units of blood, which will directly support patients undergoing surgeries, accident victims, and individuals with chronic conditions requiring regular transfusions. Volunteers also used the opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of regular blood donation and dispel common myths surrounding the process.
Plans are already underway to make this a quarterly event given its strong community turnout and impact.
